When I went to my first baseball game, in Chicago I asked for a Pretzel and a Sprite. Instead the man gave me a Pretzel and a Beer. I didn't notice so I went back to my seat and ate my pretzel.
After I looked at my "Sprite" and asked my dad " Um, dad are Sprites supposed to be yellow and bubbly?" He looked at it and said " No, that's a beer." So me and my dad went back to the stand and my dad yelled at the guy to demand a free drink. If you didn't know the parent could go to jail if the child drank the beer. Even if it was on accident.
My point is that to be careful what your child drinks if he or she is careless and if you don't want to go to jail. I sure as well wouldn't want to go to jail if my child was careless.

My Imaginary Friend "Nemo"
I met a friend named Nemo. He is orange with white stripes just like a clown fish but he's human. He likes to play Hide and Seek. Accept he doesn't like it at the same time, because he usually gets lost in the dark and gets scared. I'm the same way; and that is why we are beast friends!
I found him laying on the snow counting the grains of snow. I asked him " What in the world are you doing?". He said " Counting grains of snow." I thought he was crazy. I thought Nemo was a strange one. We talked and talked and talk and we kind of became beast friends. Cool right? I actually thought about painting myself orange with white stripes so we could be matching. There are lots of crazy things to do with your imaginary friends. Like this for granted...

Justin Bieber's New Song "Pray"
What does the song "Pray" mean by Justin Bieber? The song "Pray" by Justin Bieber is a heart warming and calming song. The lyrics of this song is about him tossing and turning in bed and finally closing his eyes and praying, and how he can make a change. This song shows a more softer side of him. A side I haven't heard before, until this song came out. Justin Bieber said that " He was thinking of Michael Jackson's song Man in the Mirror when he wrote this song." I can tell he was thinking of Michael Jackson in this song.
I can somewhat relate to this song because every time I got to bed at night I think about all the people that die and starve because they don’t have all the things we have. Someday I wish that I could help everybody, but that’s impossible. But everyday you have to dream and maybe it will come true just like his did. I wish that everyone could have a nice warm home with food and clothing…
He is also donating his new album to Children’s Miracle Network, a charity which raises funds for 170 kids' hospitals across North America! Justin said "This album is a gift to my fans and the money raised from it allows us all to help out.” I think that is the sweetest thing ever. Ribbons
The story "Ribbons" has examples of many sacrifices and lessons. Stacy loves to have ballet lessons, her father had to stop paying for them to get Stacy's grandmother in San Fransisco. Stacy and her grandmother has lots of problems together, and they need to work it out.
One of they're problems are with Stacy's ice-cream bar that she bought. When she came home from a long walk on a sunny day in the park she found her grandmother giving Ian(Stacy's little brother) her ice-cream bar that she bought. Stacy whined and whined, but the grandmother said sisters and brothers have to share. That would make me super angry, because I bought it with my own money and to find my grandmother feeding it to my little brother or sister would make me angry to the next level. Then, after I'm not angry anymore I would just go in the fridge and get something of my own.
The biggest problem they both had was when Stacy asked Paw-Paw for help with her toe shoe ribbons. Paw-Paw looked at the satin ribbons with hate and said "Give those to me." She held out her hand. Stacy said they were for dancing but Paw-Paw thought she was lying. Mother ended up coming in. She also too the ribbons and the shoe away. For the rest of the day they ignored each other. If one was in a room, the other would walk out. Things got more and more intense as they saw each other more and more. Early in the evening Stacy walked in on her grandmother sitting on the edge of the bathtub with her pants rolled up and her feet soaked in a pan of water. Paw-Paw snapped and told her to get out and she did.
Mother told Stacy what had happened to Paw-Paws feet. She said "There was a time back in china when people thought woman's feet had to be shaped a way to look beautiful. When a girl was about five, her mother would gradually bend her toes under the sole of her foot." I think the grandmother just thinks that Stacy's mother was doing that with her ribbons. Stacy finally realizes that her grandmother loves her in a different way while Ian gets spoiled with candy, toys, and ice-cream. After Stacy and Paw-Paw talked it out they loved each other like every grandmother and Grandchild should.
Stacy and Paw-Paw should talk before they start ignoring each other because if Stacy wouldn't have talked to her first then her grandmother wouldn't have known what her toe-shoes was for. I have learned something from this story because when i think that my sister wears one of my shirts and i blow up and shes wearing her own shirt and i feel completely embarrassed. This is why its always good to ask the person before you blow up or stop talking to them.

Rachel from Speak
Rachel is a girl who always finds a way to fit in. She is a freshman this year. Last year she was best friends with Melinda Sordino. But Melinda called the cops at a party in the summer so Rachel decided to find new friends.
Rachel changed her identity so she could find new friends. She now wears black stockings with runs, and she doesn't shave her arms. Rachel can swear in french, and she wants to desperately smoke, but she can't because she has asthma. So she pretends by smoking with candy cigarettes. I think Rachel would want knew friends because she was best friends with Melinda Sordino in 8th grade. They aren't friends anymore because Melinda called the cops when she was at a party and now everybody hates her because some people got arrested.
Rachel refuses to believe bad things about Andy. Rachel doesn't want to think Andy is a bad guy because she is dating him. She doesn't want to loose her reputation as a popular person.

Patriotism matters because you have to have pride in your country. The military and everyone works hard to give us freedom people take pride in what they do and take pride in what they do and many die.When we get kicked, it's nothing.Compared to the solders' legs or arms, that come off. Choir Club
Choir club is a place where you sing/dance. Last year in choir we didn't dance we just sang amazing songs, my most favorite songs were Seasons of Love, Lean on Me, and And this shall be for Music.I think choir is an amazing thing is because Mrs. Stingle teaches it.
You can kind of express yourself when you sing. When I first started choir I was sort of shy to sing. When I started practicing and singing louder a little more I got better. So then I came to choir club.
I'm in choir club 7th and 8th Grade. My first year in choir club was amazing. We went to Great America, and the contest. That was the best time ever. But the only bad thing about it was that we had to get up at school time, on a saturday. And I spilled some white icecream on my black choir shirt. So it was noticeable, and it looked like a bird pooped on me. Disgusting right? There are so many good memories from choir club...

A Clean Well-Lighted Place
The younger waiter is an interesting man. He’s all the rude mean things, like selfish, mean, and insulting. What would you say, if a young waiter came over, and insulted you? The catch is that you’re deaf. Younger waiter should get his act together and be nicer, especially to old people, because they’re sensitive.
I personally think the old man is the better because he isn’t doing anything wrong; the younger waiter is doing a lot wrong. He’s calling the old man names; he’s insulting him even though the old man is deaf. That makes him a coward. Would an old man hit a young waiter? No. The old man has no life, and the younger waiter has a life. He has a wife to go home to and probably kids. But the younger waiter doesn’t have to be such a coward and call a DEAF man a name. That’s just plain out mean

A Sad Boy.
There was a little boy that was about, 8 years old. He has no friends and no toys. His name was Arnold. He was always, and I mean ALWAYS polite to everyone, except nobody respected him. He was always sad and crying in a tunnel he built in the grounds.
One day in the summer Arnold took a walk to the lake, Arnold made a big sand castle almost life size. He just cried and cried about nobody respecting him. About an hour later, a boy about the same age named Bobby came into his castle and said “Hello, why are you crying?” Arnold says “Well because nobody respects me and I have no friends, anyway why are you talking to me?" “Because, you looked lonely and I wanted to be your friend.” Says Bobby.
Bobby and Arnold continue walking along the beach talking about their lives being lonely and people picking on them. They are with each other everyday. They have the same lives and they are like brothers. They're like best friends! But one day Arnold heard bobby talking to himself saying that Arnold was Dumb and ugly!
The next morning Bobby found Arnold back in his castle crying. Bobby apologized over and over until he talked. After a million times asking to be friends again. They became the best of friends. They stood up for each other and played everyday. Until they died together of old age at 104 years old!

Dallas Cowboys' Amazing History
Dallas Cowboys have an amazing history so far. They’re my 2nd favorite team in NFL. The Chicago Bears are my first. The Dallas Cowboys are a great team and they’ve been playing since 1960.
The Dallas Cowboys are an amazing team because their name is unique. They got that name because they had no other choice. The first months they were known as the “Steers”. After a few more weeks they decided to switch to “Rangers”, but at the same time a baseball team was created and supposedly they named it “Rangers” too. Clint Murchison Jr. and Belford Wynne decided on “Dallas Cowboys”. They’re colors turned out to be Blue, White, and Silver.
Best season so far is 1992 and 2007. What do you think about that? Do you agree, disagree?
Their first game was September 24, 1960. They were playing the Pittsburg Steelers at the Cotton bowl (Dallas Cowboys Stadium name). They had the lead in the 4rth quarter. I think they won but I’m not sure.
On November 16th 1970 the Cowboys lost a HUMILIATING GAME! It was not pretty. The score was 38-0; they lost to the ST. Louis Cardinals. But then in the NFC Championships they reach their first Super Bowl game. Thanks to the 49ers and their score 170-10; in San Francisco. I bet the Dallas Cowboys were pretty excited.
June 18, 1971; in the middle of spring the Super bowl V blasted! The Cowboys faced the Baltimore Colts in Miami. The Cowboys are leading 13-6 in the middle of 4rth quarter. Craig Morton intercepts into ten points including Jim O’ Brien’s winning the game. Finally, the Dallas Cowboys won 16-13.
Out of all the amzing football players in the NFL I chose the Dallas Cowboys. They had great history, good football games, some bad some good, and amazing players, I LOVE THE DALLAS COWBOYS!!

A Lesson
When I went to "Skateland" for the first time in December or Februrary on a cold night,I went with some friends and they helped me when i fell, and tripped. I first tried the four ones and they were WAY to hard. Then the next week I went and I tried the roller blades and they were better. I skated faster and faster. As I went to "Skateland" more I became a better rollerblader. This prooves to never give up at anything no matter how long it takes. You just have to have confidence and balance in yourself.
